Dalaun, a native of Oakland, California, is an R&B/Soul artist whose passion for music was ignited by her father and grandmother at an early age. From piano lessons at 5 to lending her voice to her church's youth choir, Dalaun's deep-seated love for music has steered her journey from the start. Her pursuit of musical understanding led her through performing arts schools during her formative years, culminating in a Bachelor's degree in Music Business/Management from Berklee College of Music in 2017.
While at Berklee, Dalaun's musical ventures expanded widely — showcasing her talent on NBC's The Sing-Off, America's Got Talent, Daddy's Home 2, and the Oscar-winning film CODA. Beyond her contributions to film and television, she honed her craft as a session singer and background vocalist, collaborating with local talent and established musicians alike.
In 2018, Dalaun stepped fully into original composition, moving from testing the waters to a confident artist convinced that her lyrics and vocal nuance hold a distinctive place in music. Her debut album, "Declaration" (2019), marked her arrival, and "MiNdGaMeS" carried her artistic evolution forward — both albums tracing the journey of a woman navigating the complexities of contemporary womanhood.
